Personal Experience

As the name suggests this is based on my personal experience. A few days ago one of my cousin sister who lives in village was abducted by 2 boys. And as usual they took her to some deserted place, it was God's grace that she shouted and a few women came running to her rescue. After coming back home she is traumatised as any girl would be. But after getting tortured by her whole family to this day, she blurted out that she was talking to a boy for past 1 month and she was about to meet him that day in the market but instead 2 perpatrators appeared and lured her with them on the bike. The scenario is totally based on victim blaming. Everyone is blaming that girl for she was the one who talked to a boy, even though talking to a boy is not a crime. She is getting tortured by her family, especially her dad. Now the situation is that she is getting married. And she is still a teenager. It's not easy being a girl in this country. Her fault is nothing but she is getting forced into an unwanted marriage. All the people nearby her are extremely brutal and continuously blaming her for whatever happened to her. And also nobody has reported this incident as the girl has brought shame to the family and by complaining the matters will get worse. As nobody would want to marry the girl
