The Untamed

When was the last time you watched a really good drama? A drama with such a deep story line and character arcs. The location and scenery which are just picture perfect and mesmerizing at the same time. 

For me it was "The Untamed" which is loosely based on the novel Mo Dao Zhu Shi aka Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.

I recently watched this drama and instantly got obsessed to it, that I am reading the novel, Manhua and watching Dongua as well. 

Being a Fujoshi I have watched quite a certain number of bl's (boy love), and even though the novel is bl,the drama is not due to Chinese censorship. But do not worry Fujoshi, the they have tried their best to show the love between the two main leads.

The actors/ actresses are on point in this drama. The acting is at par. 

 The characters portrayal by each and every actor/ actresses is just perfect, as if the role is made for them. Considering many of them were acting for the very first time, it amazes me.

The story around every character is woven perfectly. And I am proud to say that this drama depicts the strongest female characters. Each and every female character in this drama is exceptionally strong in their own ways. One can empathize with each and every character. One of the most important aspects of this drama is that no character is purely white or black but all of them have grey areas.

To me the drama was perfect and couldn't have been better.
