Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin — AAAAHHH sight for sore eyes, indeed! I’m not even going to pretend — I watched this for the bromantic chemistry between my two hubbies 😜. But what I got was so much more than just eye candy.
This was truly my villain origin story, because this series opened the gates to a whole new genre I didn't even realize I loved. It was intense, real, and emotionally grounded.
What stood out was the absence of forced romance. Except, of course, if you count the soul-deep, borderline romantic, chemistry between Kim Woo Bin and Lee Jong Suk — which I do. Others may call it platonic, but love is love, and the bond they shared? Unmatched. 🔥
Jang Na Ra’s role as the teacher was just chef's kiss — compassionate, firm, and layered. She wasn’t there just to look good — she was a rock, someone who actually cared and tried to understand her students.
The female students, too, weren’t relegated to being love interests. They had ambitions, personality, and agency — a rarity in school dramas. And the drama itself doesn’t shy away from addressing real school issues — bullying, parental pressure, academic stress, and emotional trauma. It's gritty but heartfelt.
If you're tired of sugar-coated high school stories and want something that feels real and hits hard — watch this. Available on Viki!
