We watched this because Hwang Jung Eum + Ji Sung — and if you’ve seen Kill Me Heal Me, you know what kind of fire they bring. But this? This is raw, this is painful, and this is so tragically beautiful.

From the very first episode, this drama grabs your heart, crushes it, and doesn’t really let go. The amount of angst and emotional devastation packed in here is almost unreal — but so addictively good. You feel every betrayal, every loss, every impossible decision.

What really stood out for me was the social commentary. This isn’t just about two people in love — this is about classism, power dynamics, and how easily the rich can destroy the lives of the poor. The female lead suffers so, so much — and still remains resilient, which makes her journey all the more heart-wrenching.

And Ji Sung? Absolutely magnetic. His character is messy, furious, grieving — and then transformed. The chemistry between them is electric, but their love is drenched in guilt and pain. It’s the kind of romance that hurts — but in the best drama way.
