Rating: 3/10 (Only because the actors tried)
Themes: Identity Swap, Gender Bending, Idol Life, Misplaced Romance, Damsel in Distress Syndrome
One word: UGH.
This drama was riding high on hype back in the day, and like many others, I got pulled into the whirlpool… only to come out completely drained.
Let’s get one thing straight — I adore the actors and actresses in this cast. I’m still a fan. But wow, the character writing here was something else… and not in a good way.
The plot? Another girl-dresses-up-as-boy story, this time to impersonate her twin brother who’s conveniently absent and apparently forgotten. The main female lead was the definition of a damsel in distress — completely clueless, selfishly unaware, and constantly making poor decisions while everyone else bent over backward to save her.
What made me want to scream into the void was how all three male leads somehow fell for her — despite her being an emotional tornado with zero interest in her hospitalized twin brother. I mean… who writes a sibling dynamic like that?!
There was literally another female character — smart, independent, emotionally grounded — and surprise surprise, no one bats an eye at her. Because obviously, it's more dramatic to root for the girl who forgets her brother’s in the hospital and just stumbles around waiting to be rescued.
No hate to the cast — they acted their hearts out, but the script did them dirty.
If you’re curious enough, it’s available on YouTube, but honestly? For me, it was a headache I wouldn’t want to revisit.
Hard pass unless you’re here for the unintentional comedy.
