BL / Cringe Classic / Why Did I Do This to Myself?

Okay. Where do I even begin with this one? I wanted to like it. I really did. But the sheer lack of acting made it borderline unbearable to sit through. Let’s talk about Bas—yes, I like him, but even his acting was awkward in this. Not his fault entirely, he was clearly very new and trying, and I respect how far he’s come (especially now in Fourever where he’s way better), but here… oof.

The whole “everyone is rich and obsessed with one guy” trope is so tired—especially when the one guy is not even Wayo. Like why is the whole world lining up for a guy who barely blinks?

Also, I hated how girls were portrayed—like they had nothing to do with their lives except scream for boys they don’t even know. The writing gave them zero dignity.

And now that I know about God being a full-blown homophobe who stepped into BL just for money? The audacity. I can’t stand him. That knowledge just taints the whole thing even more. The main couple had zero chemistry and every interaction was awkward like a school play where nobody learned their lines.

I only tolerated this because I was in too deep. If you're new to BL, skip this and go watch something not painful.
