BURN THAT HOUSE DOWN
Rating: 10/10
Themes: Revenge, Family Secrets, Betrayal, Identity, Plot Twists, Hidden Agendas
This drama delivered. Honestly, I went in expecting your usual revenge thriller but came out shook by the last few episodes. The pacing was tight, the tension kept simmering under the surface, and the whole cat-and-mouse dynamic had me hooked. Just when you think you’ve figured it out — BAM, the plot twists hit, and you’re left spiraling (in the best way).
The female lead? Loved her quiet strength. She wasn’t loud or dramatic, but every move was calculated. The antagonist? Deliciously hateable. And let’s talk about the chemistry between both couples — flawless. That kind of emotional push-and-pull made the story even more layered.
Now someone give the casting director an award already! Every actor was pitch-perfect, but the child actors and actresses stole the show. Their expressions, their innocence, the way they mirrored the adult versions — spot on. They brought so much depth and nostalgia to the flashbacks, I couldn’t take my eyes off them.
Definitely not your average Jdrama. If you're into clever revenge plots, perfect casting, and those juicy late-game plot twists — add this to your list immediately.
