Gen Y: The Series

๐Ÿ’™ Gen Y: The Series7/10

Let’s be real — I came only for KimCop. Ever since 2 Moons, they’ve had my heart. Their chemistry is just undeniable, and I was so ready to see more of them, especially with the news that this was based on a fanfic? Count me in.

But… this series was chaotic. There were way too many storylines running all at once, and sadly, it felt like KimCop’s screen time was being swallowed whole by the sheer number of side couples. It’s almost like the show forgot why a huge part of the fandom even showed up.

Still, one of the biggest highlights? My dearest Bas. I was so proud to see how far he’d come since 2 Moons. His improvement was massive — he felt more natural, expressive, and confident here. But his partner… not so much. That pairing could’ve hit harder with a co-actor who had more range. The lack of chemistry on his side kind of dulled the emotional moments.

Overall? It’s a 7/10 for me.
A messy plot, but KimCop still made it worth the watch. Just wish they had the spotlight they rightfully deserved.
