The kind of drama that makes your heart feel too full one moment and leaves it bleeding the next.

Yes — the ending shattered me. It left that gaping ache only a truly well-written story can cause. But honestly? I didn't even care. Because everything that came before it was so perfect, so heartfelt, so raw, that it made every tear worth it.

Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu gave us a love story that was both youthful and soul-stirring. The progression of their relationship — from chaotic misunderstandings to tender vulnerability — was handled with surprising emotional maturity. The chemistry was explosive, and yet there was something so soft about how they came to care for each other.

And let’s not forget the production quality, the acting, and the writing — all miles ahead of most BLs that were airing during that time. It raised the bar. No awkward scenes, no cringy editing — just a solid, emotionally driven story told with sincerity.

HIStory 3 (both Trapped and MODC) truly defined a golden era of Taiwanese BLs. They weren’t just romances.
