Let me just say this: I wasn’t ready. I went in thinking this would be a sweet schoolboys-to-lovers journey. What I got? An emotional wrecking ball dressed in nostalgia, betrayal, and unresolved tension. Round Trip to Love is not your fluffy popcorn BL. It’s angsty. It’s raw. And it absolutely refuses to let you breathe.

The chemistry between the leads? Electric. The flashbacks? Gut-wrenching. And the ending… oh my god, THE ENDING. They didn’t just break each other—they took us down with them. It’s the kind of pain that seeps under your skin and lingers.

The story explores first love, societal pressure, and the inability to protect the person you love when the world is stacked against you. And despite its flaws and messy execution in parts, it stays with you. This one hurt—but in the most beautiful, poetic kind of way.
