Tasty Florida
Tasty Florida – 5/10
“Served cold, lacking spice.”
This was one of those series I wanted to like—really. The visuals were good, the food aesthetic was promising, and it had that cozy café vibe. But sadly, Tasty Florida left a bitter aftertaste.
⚠️ The biggest letdown? The acting. The leads lacked expression, and the line delivery felt painfully awkward in emotional moments. Add to that a severe lack of chemistry between the main couple—and for a BL that thrives on connection and subtle tension, this was a major flaw.
There were moments that could have been sweet, even swoon-worthy, but they fell flat. The romance felt rushed and underdeveloped. It's as if they tried to microwave what should’ve been a slow-cooked dish—and we were left with something half-baked.
The supporting characters didn’t do much to help either—most were just there, floating in the background, barely fleshed out.
🍱 Bottom line: While the setting and potential were there, Tasty Florida suffers from weak performances and a romance that never truly simmered.
5/10 — pretty, but hollow. A disappointment if you're in it for the feels.
