THE WAY OF THE HOUSEHUSBAND
THE WAY OF THE HOUSEHUSBAND
Rating: 9/10
Genre: Slice-of-Life / Comedy / Domestic Chaos
WAS WEIRDLY FUNNY.
A former terrifying Yakuza boss who now devotes himself entirely to being the best househusband? Sign me up. Tatsu, with his dead-serious face and dramatic delivery, turns mundane chores like grocery shopping, bento-making, and cleaning into full-blown crime thriller episodes.
It’s bizarre. It’s over-the-top. It’s got deadpan humor dialed up to 100.
The way it casually flips stereotypes (and knives) is chef’s kiss. I laughed way more than I expected — like “what am I even watching?” level of funny.
Short episodes, punchy humor, and one of the most chaotic domestic kings out there.
A weird, hilarious gem I didn’t know I needed.
