Ahh, the OG spirit detective himself — Yusuke Urameshi. This anime is such a nostalgic ride. It’s got that early 90s grit, lovable misfits, epic tournament arcs, and some real character growth. Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama — the gang is unforgettable. There's something timeless about their dynamic; even today, it hits right. The show balances humor, darkness, and emotional depth surprisingly well.

That being said... TOO SHORT. The manga had more to give, and you feel that rush toward the end — like it deserved more time to breathe, especially in the final arc. Still, a banger of a series and a must-watch for anyone who loves old-school shonen that actually has heart and soul.

A certified comfort throwback with actual substance. Watch it for the vibes, fists, and friendships.
