609 Bedtime Story – 7/10

Starring:

  • Ohm Tithiwat as Mum

  • Fluke Natouch as Dew

  • Episodes: 11
Genre: BL, Romance, Sci‑fi, Mystery, Fantasy

609 Bedtime Story opens with a compelling blend of sci‑fi and romance, centered on room 609—a place where dreams bleed into reality. Mum (Ohm Tithiwat) begins having vivid, recurring dreams of a stranger, Dew (Fluke Natouch), only to discover that their connection transcends time and parallel worlds.

Ohm Tithiwat brings a grounded warmth to Mum’s confusion and longing, while Fluke Natouch portrays Dew with gentle intensity. Their chemistry is the heart of the series—understated but deeply felt in key moments.

However, midway through, the narrative loses some of its emotional clarity. A pivotal event—Dew’s death in one timeline—is handled too swiftly, and Mum’s rapid return to normal life feels detached. That lack of emotional follow‑through diminishes the impact of what should have been a gut‑wrenching arc.

The world‑building and visual style remain strong throughout—haunting score, moody lighting, and intriguing hints at fate and choice—but the pacing stumbles as the series tries to juggle romance, mystery, and fantasy.

Verdict:
A bold premise with two strong performances, yet emotionally uneven in the climax. Definitely worth a watch for its unique concept and Ohm × Fluke connection, but be prepared for a rushed resolution.
