The Director Who Buys Me Dinner (2022)
Rating: 6/10
Category: Korean BL / Fantasy / Office Romance

Yeah… 6/10 might be low for a K-BL, but honestly? It felt like the writers themselves weren’t sure what they wanted to show. The premise had potential—reincarnation, gods, curses—it could’ve been really intriguing. But somewhere along the way, it all just turned into a confusing mess.

There were so many plot holes, I started losing track. By the end, I was literally scratching my head thinking, what even happened? The pacing was off, the buildup felt incomplete, and key parts of the story were either rushed or left totally unexplained.

The acting? It was fine. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing that made me go wow. It had the bones of something good, but it just didn’t come together the way it should have.

Final Thought:
A confusing mix of fantasy and office romance that didn’t quite land. Not terrible, but definitely not something I’d revisit.
