Jian Hun (2025)

Genre: Chinese BL / Fantasy / Time Travel
Rating: ★★★★☆ (8/10)
Category: Mini-Series / Short & Striking

Anything from China… always delivers. And Jian Hun was no exception. It’s a short mini web drama, but somehow still felt so full. That whole sword spirit meets modern boy through time-travel concept? I ate it up.

The moment Qin Fang entered that ancient world, everything got intense. It’s one of those shows where you don’t even need long episodes because every scene hits. The bond between the main leads isn’t just about romance — it’s about trust, connection, soul. I love that deep, mythical bond kind of thing and this drama gave me that.

Their chemistry? Soft but magnetic. Like that quiet type of closeness where even silences feel loud. The sword spirit concept made it even more poetic — like their souls were tied by fate. So satisfying.

And for a mini-series, I didn’t expect to care this much about side characters either — but I did. They all played their roles well without wasting time. It was honestly such a compact little gem.

Final thoughts:
Short. Fantasy-rich. Emotionally layered. I really liked it. Not giving it 10 because I wanted a few scenes to breathe more — but still, it left me happy. 8/10 for sure.
