Perfect 10 Liners

Perfect 10 Liners7/10
I started this way later than planned, but I’m so glad I finally did—because ForceBook and JuniorMark absolutely made it worth my time.

Let’s be real: I came here just for these two pairs, and they didn’t disappoint. ForceBook have come a long way—especially Force. The way he holds scenes now, the subtle expressions, the way they maintain that chemistry—it’s impressive. Their story here wasn’t groundbreaking, but it was well-paced and warm. I genuinely hope we get to see them together in a tragic, emotionally heavy drama again like Peaceful Property. I need angst with them.

Now—Junior and Mark? I was not prepared. Junior really surprised me with his acting. His character carried so much sadness, that quiet kind of depression, and he played it beautifully. There was a softness in how he showed his pain, and Mark was the perfect contrast—sweet, caring, and just the kind of sunshine a character like that needs. Their chemistry was so wholesome I almost got diabetes watching them—but in the best way. The way they cared for each other felt real, not scripted.

The friendship group dynamics were also hilarious. Genuinely laugh-out-loud moments. It reminded me how rare it is to see a show get friend groups right.

But—and here’s where the score drops a little—I really have issues with how Thai dramas often brush over trauma and toxic family dynamics. Faifa’s trauma was so deeply rooted, and the way they resolved it? Rushed. Oversimplified. Unrealistic. Like, no—you don’t just forgive your parents because someone else told you to. That doesn’t magically erase years of neglect and pain. Watching everyone in his family ignore his emotional state until Gun finally said something? That was heartbreaking, and sadly too real. And even then, the way Yotha handled it didn’t feel like something a big brother would actually do—it lacked emotional weight.

As for the third couple—I’ll be honest, I had zero interest. Perth and Santa are great actors, I know, but their story here lacked substance and chemistry. I just didn’t feel it.

So yes, Perfect 10 Liners gave me beautiful moments, especially with ForceBook and JuniorMark, but it also left me frustrated with how it handled deeper themes. Still, it was a watch I don’t regret.
