Stealing from My CEO – 6/10
A short Chinese BL with just enough potential to keep me curious—but not quite enough to leave a lasting impression. The premise was light and a bit playful, and despite the stiff acting in places, there was something oddly charming about it. Maybe it’s the simplicity, maybe it’s the promise of more—but either way, it felt like it was just starting to find its footing when it abruptly stopped.

The pacing was fine for a short series, but it lacked emotional depth. The chemistry was there, vaguely, but underdeveloped. I kept waiting for the characters to open up more—for something to click. And then... it ended.

There was talk of more episodes dropping in December 2024, but so far, it’s just radio silence. It leaves you dangling—not in a suspenseful way, but in a “was that it?” sort of way. I don’t know what to say, honestly. It’s not bad, it’s not great—it’s just there, hanging somewhere between "passable" and "might turn into something."
