Buddy Boy (Mini Series) – 7/10

Another short BL that genuinely surprised me with how well it was put together. Buddy Boy is the kind of mini series that doesn’t try to be overly dramatic or overly complicated — it just delivers a clean, heartfelt story with excellent execution.

The pacing is tight, the plot is easy to follow, and the characters have enough depth to make you care about them despite the short runtime. What really lifts this series, though, is the chemistry between the leads. Their dynamic feels natural, playful, and emotionally grounded, giving the whole story a charm that’s hard to resist.

It’s simple but satisfying — the kind of quick BL you watch in one sitting and end up smiling about afterward. A genuinely nice, well-made short drama.
